What we collect (Guest)
For anonymous guests: only an anonymous device identifier, install time, version, release channel, and telemetry consent state — never URLs, media, or usernames.
Web content and media
The extension reads URLs, page content, and media only when you explicitly request a scan or save. Basic processing and the Saved content library stay local in your browser; VietBoost never automatically uploads original files.
Sync and VIP features
When you explicitly choose library sync or a VIP feature, metadata for saved items (such as links, titles, notes, and timestamps) is sent over HTTPS to provide that feature. Original files are not automatically synced.
Registered accounts
For registered users: email, a hashed password (scrypt), and VIP membership status. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Telemetry
Only product event names and coarse metrics are recorded (e.g. download completed, upgrade clicked). Invalid content (URLs, prompts, usernames) is stripped server-side before storage.
Payments
SePay and PayPal handle payment details directly; we only store order status and transaction references, never card or bank account data.
Your rights
You can request an export or deletion of your personal data via the Support page or the Privacy section of your account.
